Keeping our Faith in God

Are you finding yourself taxed with the stresses of life?
Have things caught up with you affecting the release of your faith?
Maybe you're having questions about the Nature of God.
Be encouraged because you are not alone
many Christians have experienced this in recent times.

With many or us His children, I read these words today:
"When it comes to being sick or having some lack in our life, we acknowledge that God has the ability to make us whole or supply our need. What we tend to question is His willingness to meet our need and whether we are good enough to have His attention, assistance or intervention. If we doubt God's willingness to meet our need, we will
not go to Him believing or accept the simplicity of His Love and Grace that He makes
freely available for us to receive" be it New Birth, Healing, Provision, whatever.

Sometimes we can pray for things but do not have a clear picture of healing_ so we leave that out because we wish to avoid confusion and disappointment. With others, it may be the area of provision......we feel safer or more sure in the areas we have proven (God has answered prayer). For me, I avoided both these areas for years after a few
disappointments. I felt overwhelmed if I thought of them but wished to keep my faith in God. I think that speaks for many of us. Yet He is a God of the whole person_
healing, family, income. He likes to come through in all these areas.

Now Jesus said He always did the Will of the Father who sent Him.We see Goodness everywhere He went: He provided for a wedding and healed ALL who came to Him for healing. He was no respecter of persons, He had no favorites. We have the impression often that He has because of prayer-lines with church traditions, we see some healed and others not. But all of us can go directly to Him like others did in scripture.

The problem often, is that we look to the preacher. What do we see in the verse above?
We see Jesus always willing, and we see that it was the Father's Will that He did all these Good things_ showing His Loving Kindness to ALL. That's the meaning of Gospel_ Good News! Glad Tidings went everywhere.

One of the Christian Broadcasting Network's producers said she had a personal family experience for some years, with seeing one of her parents hobbling around after a stroke. And she reports that seeing her parent struggle that way impacted her faith negatively. She says that unconsciously, she began to associate his physical limitation with her Heavenly Father's Power. She went on to say that during that time, she started to see God as weak and powerless to change the situation. She lost her confidence in God. Her love for Him did not fail, but she no longer saw Him as the God of Miracles
she had previously.

She gives us these scriptures:

"Be strong and courageous, and do not be overwhelmed because of them
(your sickness, debt, marriage problem, addiction)
for The Lord your God goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you!"
Due 31:6

"One thing God has spoken
two things I have heard
that You oh God are Strong
and that You oh Lord are Loving.
Surely You will reward each person
according to what he has done"
Ps 62:11,12

Once I had a remarkable experience with a family from the Middle East.
They wanted me to pray in other languages, because they had picked up the
names "Jesus" and "Bible" on three occasions. I said there is no guarantee the Holy Spirit would pray in Arabic through me, but they ardently desired and God honored this.
To everyone's suprise, I prayed fluently in Arabic, and one of the things they interpreted afterwards for me was
"everyone shall be rewarded for what He has done".

The Lord obviously chose to say those words because He places so much importance on them. We find these words in Psalm 62 and also in Revelations, saying
"His Reward is with Him".

For the last 3 months, I've had a growing awareness of this come to me, and then I found those very same words in the testimony from CBN online today when writing this post and the article mentioning God's willingness simultaneously. (I was prompted to make a quick search). A few days now, previous to writing this the Holy Spirit was saying that we need to see The Lord's Willingness to answer our prayers. So He is speaking Today!

Be encouraged, leave disappointments behind you and look to Him afresh.
"Cast aside the weight of things that easily beset you" and soak yourself in
the Goodness of God. Meditate on these things instead of things that trouble you - they only cause you to question.

Question Me not or ask Me why
and don't be inclined toward your own thoughts.
For when you do these things
it grieves my Spirit
it hinders My plans for you
 and delays My purpose
you cause yourself suffering
oh seek out My Ways.

(words of a song He gave me once)

All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.

Psalm 25:10

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the
house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 23:6

Whoever offers praise glorifies Me and to those who order their conversation aright, I will show
the Salvation of God.

Psalm 50:23

The Ways of The Lord are a Refuge for us.

Proverbs 10:29

The Lord is Good and Steadfast is His Love, let the redeemed Say so.

Psalm 107:2

TRY TO KEEP A GOOD REPORT OF THE LORD IN YOUR HEART AND MIND
AND ASK HIM TO UPHOLD YOU WITH A WILLING SPIRIT
TO SEE HIS GOODNESS AND BELIEVE THE BEST AT ALL TIMES
SO HE CAN HONOR YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
